Replying to the phrase "Welcome to Denny's, can I take your order?" just got a lot more...hip?

Behold, the Denny's Rock Star Menus initiative!

Yes, Denny's has adopted Taking Back Sunday, The All-American Rejects, Eagles of Death Metal and Plain White T's, asking the bands to develop specialty menu selections. First up, the Plain White T's Groupie Special, which includes three cups of coffee, a side of bacon, a new toothbrush, and a fresh pair of stockings.

I'm a strong supporter of open-contribution blog projects, be they friggin' adorable, like Stuff on My Cat (When did Stuff on My Cat devolve into people just sending in cute pictures of cats without any stuff on them??); suicide-watch-inducing, like PostSecret; or hip/hilarious, like Sleeveface.

In the spirit of the latter, b3ta has issued the Extending Album Art challenge. As you can see from the examples above... yeah, it's fairly awesome.
